Our most recent achievements were our monetary support to our Udu Clan Summit in 2022.
In 2022, we purchased and delivered cassava stems to our farmers whose farms were destroyed by severe floods, a perennial problem in the Niger Delta. Our plans for this year, is to supply the Udu community with at least 5,000 plantain sucklings, before the planting season this year, Our president is already communicating with the prospective suppliers.our.
Ujevwu, Egiege, Ugbisi, Okolor Inland, Okolor Water-side, Erhiephihor, Ovworokpokpor, Owhrode, Otor-Udu, Ukpiovwin, Aladja, Oleri, and Okpaka communities responded enthusiastically and collected the cassava stems allocated to their communities. Individual cassava farmers from the various Udu Communities also came to collect the donated improved cassava stems.
All those who responded and collected the cassava stems were full of prayers and praises for the EMO R' UDU IN the USA, led by Dr Francis Obukohwo Sido for this benevolent and very thoughtful gesture, which will help push hunger out of Udu kingdom and shore up food security.
The various Udu Communities also expressed appreciation and prayed for the Ovie of Udu kingdom, Barr., Dr. E.O.B. Delekpe JP, Owhoru 1, the President- General of Udu kingdom, High Chief Godwin Jefia Notoma, and the Executives of the Union of Udu Communities who were on ground to supervise, in an orderly manner, the distribution of the cassava stems to the various communities.
